巴氏合金也叫巴比特合金、白合金，是一種具有悠久使用歷史的軸承合金。含有80%～90%錫，3%～16%銻，1.5%～10%銅。其組織為在軟基體(α固溶體)上分布著硬質(zhì)點(diǎn)β相(以化合物SnSb為基的固溶體)。加入銅可以防止比重偏析。常用牌號(hào)有ZchSnSbl2-4-10、ZchSnSb11-6、ZchSnSb8-4等。

　　這類合金具有較小的線膨脹系數(shù)，良好的導(dǎo)熱性能、工藝性能和耐蝕性。熔融法制備、壓力加工成材。主要用作汽車、拖拉機(jī)、汽輪機(jī)等機(jī)械上的高速軸承。主要用于水泥球磨機(jī)、壓縮機(jī)、壓延機(jī)、水輪機(jī)、船舶螺旋漿軸套、金屬礦磨機(jī)、船舶、電梯、吊索和其它重型機(jī)械的軸套、軸瓦等。

　　巴氏合金主要使用于大型機(jī)械主軸的軸瓦、軸承、軸襯、軸套。如：水泥機(jī)械、鋼鐵機(jī)械、化工機(jī)械、造紙機(jī)械、石油機(jī)械、船舶機(jī)械、壓縮機(jī)械、煤礦機(jī)械、選礦設(shè)備等等，還可以用在大型機(jī)床上來(lái)取代黃銅，效果也很好。巴氏合金除制造滑動(dòng)軸承外，因其質(zhì)地軟、強(qiáng)度低，常將其絲或粉噴涂在鋼等基體上制成軸瓦使用。為防止成分偏析和細(xì)化晶粒，還常加入少量的砷。
